The virtual course at the University of St.Gallen: Reskilling Sales Programme

The two-week virtual course starts on June 07, 2021 and lasts until June 18, 2021. Classes are held Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. during both weeks. Classes are taught in English, German and French. No two days are the same. The uniquely designed course units are tailored to the jobs at our partners. At the end of the two-week course you will receive an official diploma from the University of St.Gallen.

Learn about new sales and negotiation tactics and apply them directly in practical group sessions with amazing coaches. Every day, you can expect a varied virtual classroom or practical session in which you can work on yourself and gather valuable input. Get to know successful career changers who are now working for our partners and ask them your questions about the jobs on offer for lateral entry.

Customer Service

If you have a communicative personality, Customer Service is the ideal job for you. Your role is to respond to customers and answer their questions quickly and competently. To make your job interesting, you need to be quick on the uptake and willing to provide assistance. In the evening, you'll go home with the confidence that you have been responsible for many satisfied customers.

Sales consultant

As a sales consultant, you provide customers with advice and support on a daily basis. With your outgoing nature and team spirit, you exude optimism in every situation. Price calculations, preparing invoices and participating in marketing campaigns such as promotions for new products and services can also be part of the job of a sales consultant.

External sales representative

As a field sales representative, you will spend a lot of time on the road looking after clients within your sales area. The acquisition of new clients is also part of your various tasks. In addition to sales talent and flexibility, a technical background is often required.

Sabine - From Cabin Crew Member to a new future

Sabine is an all-rounder. Even at a young age, the international Swiss was drawn to the world. Nowadays, she works as a flight attendant and project manager. She is taking part in the program to venture a new start and says: "Although flying is the most beautiful thing, I know that in the future it will never be the same again. That's why I'm taking a chance and taking this advanced training."

Manolo - From event planning to finance

For Manolo, music has always been a big part of his life. In Switzerland, he worked as an event organizer, but he believes it is important to continue his training and, especially with a view to his passions, to crystallize his own talents. Currently, Manolo works in the financial sector in the Zurich area.

Caroline - From the Diet Kitchen to the Field Service

Caroline started at Helvetia in May 2020 as a customer advisor in the sales force. What is special about her is that she is a career changer and previously worked as a dietician in a private clinic. "For me, the courage to make a lateral move has paid off. Today, I live out my passion for cooking in my free time."

Registration / Pricing

Thanks to the collaboration with our partners and Lionstep, we can offer the entire program, including a diploma from the University of St.Gallen, at an extremely competitive price of only CHF 400.- (excl. VAT) (original price CHF 3'000.-).

This includes:

The two-week virtual course run by the University of St.Gallen
An official diploma from the University of St.Gallen
A written analysis of your strengths and potential areas of development

Helvetia Insurance and other partners will cover the amount of CHF 400.- once a candidate has successfully completed the trial period.

If you are currently unemployed, please check with your RAV office if they will cover the cost of the course. We will then contact the respective office directly.

The number of places for the course is limited to 350. We will decide on the basis of a short questionnaire which candidates will be selected for the course in June. We intend to offer additional courses throughout the year.
